Ethical Harvest Philosophy

At Broken Plains, we value the animal before and after the hunt. We encourage every hunter to have a plan for meat transport, processing, and hides & capes. If hunters cannot take their meat home, it will be processed at their expense and donated to those in need. Our hunts center around respect, conservation, and full utilization of each animal harvested.

Cancellation & Refunds

All deposits are non-refundable. If cancellation occurs within 30 days of your scheduled arrival date, all payments are forfeited. If cancellation occurs more than 30 days prior, payments may be transferred one time to an available hunt within 13 months (subject to availability). If you transfer your spot to another person, you are responsible for coordinating payment reimbursement privately. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to and confirmed by Broken Plains.

Deposit & Payment

• Hunts: 50% non-refundable deposit at booking; balance due no later than 14 days prior to arrival. Hunts booked within 14 days require payment in full.
• Bowfishing: 50% non-refundable deposit at booking; balance due no later than the trip date. Trips booked within 14 days require payment in full.

Dogs

Broken Plains will provide trained hunting dogs for applicable hunts. Guests may bring personal dogs only with prior approval from Broken Plains. If approved, the guest assumes full responsibility and liability for their dog(s); dogs must be current on all vaccinations and free from communicable disease; owners are responsible for handling, care, feeding, control, and waste removal; dogs must remain under control at all times. Broken Plains reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove any guest-owned dog from the field, lodging, vehicles, or property at any time for safety, health, operational, or behavioral concerns.
