Mule Deer
Experience Open Country Mule Deer Hunting

Broken Plains Outfitting Company offers open country, spot-and-stalk mule deer hunts in central Montana. These pursuits take place across river breaks, rolling hills, and agricultural ground, allowing for multiple ways to pursue mature bucks based on capabilities. We consistently harvest 150″+ mule deer, with opportunity on 180″–190″ class mule deer each season.
This is not a high-country pack-in hunt, but there is still a lot of topography and elevation changes to navigate. Physical conditioning prior to the hunt is recommended. Expect to walk, glass, and cover a lot of ground. While less demanding hunting styles can be accommodated, covering ground through spot-and-stalk hunting greatly increases chances of success.
